Installing before the board(device) is plugged into the computer for the first time:
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: This is the recommended way to install the device drivers.

  a) Log in as administrator on the computer on which you wish to install.
  b) Run Setup.exe by double clicking or by selecting it and pressing the "Enter" key.
  c) There should be no error messages and the installer should put up a dialog "Installation completed".
If you encounter any error messages please make sure that you have administrative rights on the computer
and that you have write permission on files in the windows directory.
The driver installs only on Windows 2000, XP and 98.
If the install fails for more than 3 times, please call Texas Instruments (512)2630588 ext22
  d) Now plug in the board(device). Windows should detect new hardware twice and install the drivers automatically.
If Windows asks for the location of the drivers then point it to C:\WINNT\TI\Usb1 and C:\WINNT\TI\Usb2
where WINNT is the windows directory.
  e) Reboot if Windows prompts you to reboot.
  f) You are ready to run/install Code Composer Studio or other software that uses the driver.
  g) If you get a messagebox asking whether to replace a file that is newer it is recommended that you select "No".

If you plugged in the device before you ran the installer
 ----------------------------------------------------------
  a) Disconnect the board first.
  b) Restart the computer
  c) Follow the same steps as in installing before the board is plugged into the computer

     2) Expand "Computer Management(Local)"
     3) Under "System Tools" select "Device Manager"
     4) Expand "USB Controllers" in the window frame to the right.
     5) Right click each USB device that has an exclamation mark next to the USB icon.
